Megan Gale
Gale won a modelling competition in Perth aged 18. Gale was the model for several years until she was recognized in 1999, when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) cast her to be in ads. She continued to be employed as a model for the company until. In 2003 it was announced that Gale was hired by the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in the editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan and Vogue Italia. Gale has worked as a model on runways for Italian fashion houses, including Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo as well as runway shows on behalf of Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a fan of a variety of Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale served as moderator of the Australian awards on television, known as the Logies. Gale has stepped down from runway modelling in January 2008 following 15 years. Her last catwalk at the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney a few weeks later. For her last look she was wearing Wonder Woman's outfit in The Justice League of America movie that never came out. In March of 2011, Gale was back on the runway and closed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival show.
